Day 1 : The road of the olive

You arrive in Vaison la Romaine in the morning, where our travel agency team takes care of your luggage (if you chose the option), presents you the travel documents and your bikes or ebikes.

Itinerary day 1 : 50km

For this first day on your bike, you take the direction of the charming village of Buis-les Barronies, this typical market town surrounded bu lavender fields. You then go
back on the road and cross the villages of Mérindol les Oliviers, Puyméras and Mirabel aux Barronies by taking small roads through olive trees and vineyards. You finish your day by taking the direction of Nyons, famous for its black olives but which also deserves a visit for its well-preserved architecture.
You spend the night here.

Day 2 : Towards Dieulefit

Itinerary day 2 : 36km

After a solid breakfast, you leave Nyons to continue your trip on the small roads of the provencal Drôme. First, you cross the village of Venterol, which overlooks its vineyard and provides a good POD wine. Then, you take the direction to Dieulefit. This village, surrounded by green hills and set next to a river, is well-known for its potteries, but also for its famous goat cheese, the Picodon Dieulefit ! You spend the night in a village near Dieulefit.

Day 3 : Towards Montélimar

Itinerary day 3 : 30km

You hit the road in the morning in order to reach your destination of the day, Montélimar. To reach the nougat capital, you will cross the village of la Bégude de Mazenc, which is the entrance of the Drôme Provençale, and dominates the plain over Montélimar.
Then, you follow the small country roads that will take you to Montélimar where you spend the night.

Day 4 : Towards Grignan

Itinerary day 4 : 40km

You can visit Montelimar in the morning. Then, you hit the road in direction of the South. You follow for a few kilometers, the itinerary of the cycle road ViaRhona, which follows the Rhone river and allows you to discover amazing landscapes. Then, you take the direction of Grignan, following the small country roads. You
spend the night in this charming village, which you will appreciate for its authenticity.

Day 5 : Back to Vaison la Romaine

Itinerary day 5 : 30km

For your last day on a bike, you take the road and leave the Drôme to re-enter the Vaucluse. You cross the villages of Richerenches, well-known for its truffles but also for its wine, and of Visan, where you will discover an amazing panorama on the surrounding landscapes. You cycle through vineyards and olive trees to go back to Vaison-la-Romaine where you will give back your bikes and get your luggage back (if you chose the option).
