Day 1
Day 1 : Accross the vineyards
You arrive in Vaison la Romaine in the morning, where our travel agency team takes care of your luggage (if you choose the option) and explains you the travel documents as well as your bikes and ebikes.
Itinerary day 1 : 40km
You take off on your bike in the direction of the south, accross the famous vineyards of the Côtes du Rhône. You cross the villages if Gigondas, Vaqueyras and Baumes de Venise, where you can taste local wines and admire the beautiful landscapes at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail. You keep going to finish this day in the small village of Mazan, a small town nestled below the Mont Ventoux, where you spend the night.
Day 2
Day 2 : The doors of Luberon
Itinerary day 2 : 30km
For this second day, you continue on your road in the direction of the Luberon. You cycle across the "Monts du Vaucluse" and reach first the village of St Didier. You can visit this peaceful village and why not, if you wish, taste a delicious local nougat. You keep going towards Pernes les Fontaine, where you can admire no less than forty fountains, which give their name to the village. Finally, you go in the direction of l'Isle sur la Sorgue and Fontaine de Vaucluse where you spend the night.
Day 3
Day 3 : The Abbey of Senanque
Itinerary day 3 : 45km
After a nice breakfast, take the time to visit Fontaine de Vaucluse and see the impressive spring which gave the name to the village. Then you take the road to go to Gordes, one of the most beautiful villages of France, don't miss out the famous Sénanque Abbey. Next you go to Roussillon, in the heart of the biggest ocher deposit in the world and enjoy the fabulous colours of the landscapes. You sleep there.
Day 4
Day 4 : Along the road of the ochers
Itinéraire jour 4 : 40km
After your breakfast, take the charming road of the ochers towards the village of Gargas. Then take the way up to the pretty little village of Saignon. After having enjoyed the stunning view over all the valley, you go down to the village of Rustrel also called « the Provençal Colorado». You can spend spend some time walking in the
little streets and admiring the XVIIth century castle that was restored recently. Finally, you go to Apt, a charming town where you will spend the night.
Day 5
Day 5 : The Aigues valley
Itinerary day 5 : 60km (shorter itinerary possible)
You leave in the morning for the village of Cereste, situated at the border between Vaucluse and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. Then let yourself roam among fabulous landscapes to the village of la Bastide des Jourdans in the Aigues Valley. You leave the fortified village to go to Lourmarin, one of the most beautiful French villages. Just like Albert Camus, allow yourself to be seduced by the narrow streets that lead to the castle. You sleep there.

Day 6
Day 6 : Arrival in the Alpilles
Itinerary day 6 : 50 km
After your breakfast, you continue to discover Luberon along the Durance up to the village of Mallemort. Then you take the direction of Senas in order to arrive in the Alpilles' territory. You ride toward the Alpilles by crossing the village of Eyguières and Eygalières where you spend the night.
Day 7
Day 7 : The road of the olive trees
Itierary day 7 : 32 km
After a solid breakfast, you leave Eygalières to get to the village of Maussane-les-Alpilles, in the middle of olive trees. After having a taste of the traditional olive oil, you go to one of the most beautiful french villages and enjoy the astonishing view from the Baux de Provence's fortress. Then you go down towards the village of St Rémy de
Provence where you sleep.
Day 8
Day 8 : The doors of Camargue
Itinerary day 8 : 30km
You start your day by the village of Fontvieille where you can admire the famous windmill which inspired Alphonse Daudet's famous "Lettres de mon Moulin". You keep going towards Arles and its arena, located at the doors of Camargue. You can enjoy your evening there and visit the city : you sleep there.
Day 9
Day 9 : From Arles to Nîmes
Itinerary day 9 : 40km
After your breakfast, you can take the time to visit Arles by bike. Then, you follow the small roads of Camargue, where you can admire horses and bulls, but also the wild landscape of the Camargue and its marshes. You reach the village of St Gilles, located halfway between Arles and Nimes. After this stop, you continue across the countryside around Nimes, which you finally reach and where you spend the night.
Day 10
Day 10 : The Aqueduct
Itinerary day 10 : 40 km
After a solid breakfast, and a stroll in the city of Nimes, you take the road in the beautiful roads of the Gard in the direction of the famous roman bridge, the Pont du Gard. This impressive roman masterpiece, which overlooks the Gardon river, is very well preserved. You leave the Pont du Gard in the direction of Uzès, a charming town with beautiful architecture where you spend the night.
Day 11
Day 11 : The vineyards
Itinerary day 11 : 45 km
You leave the town of Uzes in the direction of the Rhone river. On this day, you cycle amongst vineyards, oak trees forests and peaceful countryside. You cross small villages like Valliguières, Tavel and Lirac, and where you can, if you wish, taste the local PDO wines (Côte du Rhône). You go to Chateauneuf du Pape where you spend the night.e
Day 12
Day 12 : Back to Vaison la Romaine
Itinerary day 12 : 40km
On this last day, you leave Chateauneuf du Pape and cycle in the vineyards. You go through the village of Courthézon, authentic provencal town. You finish your trip by going back to Vaison la Romaine, where you leave your bikes and get your luggage back (if you chose the option).
